When is it right to interfere in a country's internal politics? My question is prompted by the story of Sudan selling tons of foodstuffs while aid agencies are struggling to feed Sudanese people starving in Dafur. At what point does someone step in and say or do something? If the function of goverment is to provide the people with a fair and impartial framework within which they can live in peace and strive for prosperity, then when is it right for outside agencies to interfere? I am a firm believer in the isolationist policy as advocated by George Washington,(trade and commerce with all, and beware all foreign entanglements) but how can we balance that with watching a monsterous injustice being committed? Is there an answer? Is there a responsibility to a foreign folk to help even when their own goverment refuses to do so? If so, then when does the world step in?

it would be nice to believe when humanity decides we are all of the same race regardless of skin and the preservation and advancement of life is primary... humankind is not being too nice to itself right now... brings new light to the terms and real meaning of using 'race'... races, racial, multi, etc...to further distinguish ourselves from each other .... the infinite wisdom of man furthers the cause... the cause to e-race humankind IS in a race .... with himself.... to see who's going to be left at the finish line... with the most toys...

Ya poor Tibet... =( they got nothing the US gov wants...SAVE TIBET & DAFUR...don't buy blood diamonds (and if you are hard core, no more nestle or any other non-free trade chocolate) I am just not having diamonds...and Voting for Obama =)
