With where we are scientificly, I find it amazing so many people still believe in fantasies. We think it nieve of peoples past who worshiped sun gods or corn gods or whatever and yet gods are still worshiped today. I have been thinking much about this lately and wonder of the intelligence of those who do.

All of the logic and cold hard facts of science will not bring comfort and peace of mind when its needed. I'm a nurse who sees death and disability quite often. People need the comfort of knowing there are better things to come. And what harm is there in that? Personally I believe in God but I don't agree with organized religion. To me it's a one on one relationship that I have with Someone that has worked miracles in people's lives - my own included. Through the miracle of science my daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumor and this past December it was removed. Through the error of science it grew back and just 10 days ago they removed more. So much for the advances of science. But through the miracle of God my daughter is still alive - through the miracle of God my daughter has had no ill effects of having her head cut open, a piece of her skull removed, and a golf ball chuck of her brain removed. Now - whats the harm of having a little faith? All hail the mighty SunGod.
