In defense of Israel:

1)Israel was going to show the U.S. how to PROTECT those planes from terrorist..

U.S. response-- We basically said " We are TOO BIG to be attacked".. You see what happened..[911]

2)In defense of Russia

I understand the Russian government offered to protect and safe guard the first Bush Presedential election..

U.S. response-- We are too big to NOT beable to safeguard our own election.. And of course there was trickery in Florida..

To those who dont know, the "too big part" is an example of arrogance..I think some countries exploit this arrogance..

'And arrogance has not lead the US into trouble yet...' WHAT??? I don't even know where to start on that comment.

This arrogance has had me thinking about moving to another country for several years, along with the childish and selfish me-me attitude and our inability to look up and see there is a whole world out there that we are only a part of. And the embarrassment that we elected, for a second term, lies/misconceptions/stupidity/arrogance to lead this country.

And what the hell are we even doing in Iraq? When that first stated, I went to visit family in the mid-west and felt if I wasn't waving the flag I would be stoned - I kept my mouth shut. And, small flags were handed out at my workplace to every employee and by god you better have it displayed or else! Have we lost our ability to think and reason as individuals?

Watched a Bill Moyer's program the other night on what people in other countries think of us and one comment from Great Britain went something like - To be 100% American is to be 99% ignorant.

Yes, I know, not addressing your point 'I think some countries exploit this arrogance..' Have not thought of this prior.

One of the reason we have pasts is that we should learn something.
And arrogance has not lead the US into trouble yet, but I do believe that we should check ourselves or we maybe in for a Global Reallity Check, for it seems that we have not learned anything from the past.
