WHATEVER IT TAKES...

it would appear that the red cross should file an injunction aqgainst the conspirators who bamboozled the rebels and the freed hostages should be returned to their previous condition or into an escrow account and gather global interest until all the litigators can figure out the patent and copyright and intellectual proprty infringement on the part of the plotters who have abused the entity known as the red cross....

GOOD GRIEF...!!! they just might send the hostages back...
call the UN General Assembly for an emergency meeting...

mucking forons....

for your reading pleasure:

Did Colombia skirt law in hostage rescue?

BOGOTA, Colombia (CNN) -- Colombian military intelligence used the Red Cross emblem in a rescue operation in which leftist guerrillas were duped into handing over 15 hostages, according to unpublished photographs and video viewed by CNN.
What seems to be part of a red cross is seen on a bib worn by a man involved in the rescue in this official image.

What seems to be part of a red cross is seen on a bib worn by a man involved in the rescue in this official image.

Photographs of the Colombian military intelligence-led team that spearheaded the rescue, shown to CNN by a confidential military source, show one man wearing a bib with the Red Cross symbol. The military source said the three photos were taken moments before the mission took off to persuade the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia rebels to release the hostages to a supposed international aid group for transport to another rebel area.

Such a use of the Red Cross emblem could constitute a "war crime" under the Geneva Conventions and international humanitarian law and could endanger humanitarian workers in the future, according to international legal expert Mark Ellis, executive director of the International Bar Association.

"It is clear that the conventions are very strict regarding use of the symbol because of what it represents: impartiality, neutrality. The fear is that any misuse of the symbol would weaken that neutrality and would weaken the [Red Cross]," Ellis said.

"If you use the emblem in a deceitful way, generally the conventions say it would be a breach. [Based on the information as explained to me,] the way that the images show the Red Cross emblem being used could be distinguished as a war crime, " he added.

]quote[He should be able to deal with this in private - it is none of our business. Get over it already and stop ostracizing people for their sexual behavior! less...]quote[

we expect our leaders and those in power to act with civility and sensibility and encourage the semblance of being a role model as opposed to an immoral model and one who is more enamored with his libido than the responsibility of the position that of being elected to...
those in position should keep their privates private and not trip over themselves and make their pubics public....
there is no getting over it... there IS a direct correlation with an elected official and his integrity and moral fiber... hmmmmmm the governor of new york is still in office....

there IS a difference between an election and an erection... then again getting elected could create one....

WHY are we so obsessed with the sex life of others?

I personally don't care who is sleeping with whom or who is getting it in the men's restroom. And, I don't care how many children a person has or by whom. We are part of the animal kingdom and are not monogamous by nature so, this will continue to be a part of human behavior. What does this have to do with a persons political position? (No no, not that position.) He should be able to deal with this in private - it is none of our business. Get over it already and stop ostracizing people for their sexual behavior!

john edwards is now the latest politico to throw his rhetorical a55 sans hat into the impending election circus...

taking odds if he's britney'd himself as in 'OOOPS, i've done it again or he's gonna moonwalk out the door like michael jackson and billy jean...
lyrics to follow.... start singing... it's dna time... maury povitch in the a.m.

She was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene
I said dont mind, but what do you mean I am the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round
She said I am the one who will dance on the floor in the round
2nd verse
She told me her name was billie jean, as she caused a scene
Then every head turned with eyes that dreamed of being the one
Who will dance on the floor in the round

Bridge
People always told me be careful of what you do
And dont go around breaking young girls hearts
And mother always told me be careful of who you love
And be careful of what you do cause the lie becomes the truth

Chorus
Billie jean is not my lover
Shes just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son

3rd verse
For forty days and forty nights
The law was on her side
But who can stand when shes in demand
Her schemes and plans
cause we danced on the floor in the round
So take my strong advice, just remember to always think twice
(do think twice)

4th verse
She told my baby,we where dancing still 3:00
Then she looked at me, she show me a photo
My baby cried, cause his eyes where like mine

Bridge
People always told me be careful of what you do
And dont go around breaking young girls hearts
She came and stood right by me
Then the smell of sweet perfume
This happened much too soon
She called me to her room
Chorus
Billie jean is not my lover
Shes just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
Billie jean is not my lover
Shes just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
Billie jean is not my lover
Shes just a girl who claims that I am the one
But the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, but the kid is not my son
She says I am the one, she says he is my son
She says I am the one
Billie jean is not my lover

yes, even in the political arena as a nation looks to gather itself together into a presidential election and the poli-bloggers look to rumourfy and besmirch front runners at almost every breath and enter key there are events that DO fall beneath contempt. regardless if one is spiritual, agnostic or atheistic...
this not so little escapde makes the brangelina ensemble and the paparazzi look like a ho-hum day in the suburbs...

where does a human being begin and where does it end...???
when they take the 'being' away from human... the sensibility of being and it makes no sense at all.....

the news item speaks for itself....
lets assassinate the tooth fairy, santa claus and the easter bunny....

Rabbi condemns release of purported Obama prayer note

* Story Highlights
* Prayer note purportedly written by Barack Obama removed from prayer wall
* Rabbi who supervises wall condemns its removal
* Israeli newspaper prints what it says are the contents of the prayer

JERUSALEM -- The rabbi who supervises Jerusalem's Western Wall condemned the removal of a prayer note purportedly written by Sen. Barack Obama, saying the action was "sacrilegious."

Sen. Barack Obama leaves a prayer note in Jerusalem's Western Wall.

The U.S. presidential candidate visited the holy site early Thursday and placed a note in the cracks of the wall -- a custom of visitors.

The note was subsequently removed from the wall, according to the Israeli newspaper, Ma'ariv, which printed what it said were the contents of the prayer.

Ma'ariv said a seminary student gave the note to the newspaper.

Obama's senior strategist Robert Gibbs told CNN, "We haven't confirmed nor denied" that the note is from the Illinois senator.

"This sacrilegious action deserves sharp condemnation and represents a desecration of the holy site," said Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, who supervises the Western Wall, in a statement.

He said notes are supposed to be removed twice a year, on the eve of Jewish New Year and Passover, and placed in a repository under supervision "to keep them hidden from human eyes."

"Notes which are placed in the Western Wall are between the person and his Maker; Heaven forbid that one should read them or use them in any way," Rabinowitz said.

CNN's Sasha Johnson, who was a part of a pool of journalists who accompanied Obama to the wall, said when reporters asked Obama what he wrote, he declined to share the contents of his prayer.

Obama told the reporters it was a private conversation between him and God, Johnson said.

"Anybody who goes to the Western Wall and places a note there does so under the assumption that it's a private communication between him and God, and therefore once he has that presumption of confidentiality, there are rabbinic decrees against reading anybody else's private communications," said Jonathan Rosenblum, director of the Orthodox Am Ehad think tank.

Obama returned to the United States Saturday night, bringing to an end his eight-day trip to the Middle East and Europe.

what may be the statement of the year...

Whoopi Goldberg explains her view on the N-word and Elizabeth Hasselbeck argues that we can never get past racial issues as long Black people use the word.

and then dear liz goes on to say that we should drop the '14th letter of the alphabet' so we can 'FEEL' like we're getting somewhere...
'FEEL' this....
is that like surreal reality...??? virtual placebo...???
looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.... must be a duck...
