On the hundreds of thousands of people with a desire to date interracially, it seems that most here are not serious about finding that "special someone". If I'm wrong, let me know. Also, if you know of "serial daters" please let me know who they are, so that I can steer clear.

your perception that "most" of the people on this site aren't serious may actually be a by product of the fact that they are serious, serious to the point of being very selective...
the search for that special someone isn't easy, that's probably one of the things that makes them so "special" once you find them...

Hey Sunkist...keep the faith. I hear what you're saying and have said that many times myself. Then I keep telling myself that it only takes one. Thee One! From looking at your profile I wouldn't be surprised if that "special someone" already knocked on your door. And if he did you're gonna tell us, right? :-) Good luck

I agree with your comments. Most of the winks and emails I received were from men not in my profile. I think the guys are just looking at the pics and sending email. One man constantly annoyed me by sending stupid emails and he was toooo old 52. Yuk!!!!! Good luck to eveyone.

I haven't been on this site very long myself. I had a few people viewing my profile however I did update it a bit. I added some more details about myself and what I am looking for in a woman. I don't see this sight as a place just for me to exclusively date people outside my race (i.e. black, asian, latino...). I look at as opening up my options. For much of my online dating I seem to attract black women more for some reason. So I sort of gotten use to the idea that when I meet that special someone and have a family with her she more than likely would be black.
In reality I don't expect to meet my future wife here however one can't say that I won't either. It comes down to how compatible and dedicated we are to a relationship. I'm not here for curiosity sake that's for sure since I had interracial relationships before. However Poet does make a good point. Web dating you don't know what your getting until you meet them. However a good relationship is built on trust and if you can't trust the other person or you're not being truthful then the relationship will fizzle.
