I feel change in the air already...... I know that people here didn't all vote for Obama, but he is OUR president, just like Bush was OUR president and Clinton before him...at this junction, still the 00's of the new century, we have the opportunity make great strides in the midst of amazing financial turmoil. Obama will be the leader, our leader, but only together we can change the world. That is what all this democratic process is all about.

Although I am working on my arms so I mine can look like Michelle's. Kinda a joke, but not really. Plus I do research with stroke patients in chicago, so I have learned that black people (especially overweight, smokers) have a HIGH chance of stroke so the Obamas together are good healthy role models too. But the fashion is a little overwhelming.

Yes, now we have our first Biracial president ! altho I voted for Hillary Clinton --as women seem to only get attention for FASHION. Which is the case with Michele O'Bama now. What about Her MIND? I would like to think people vote for more than color or gender.

Totally agree. I didn't like him at first, i liked Hilary Clinton. Slowly he won me over with his poise and confidence. he could have taken the low road during the final stretches of the campaign but chose the high road. I like that President Obama is willing to try a different way. I sense a new day dawning. No He is not a miracle worker or a God, just someone new with a new mindset.
